Sam Smith and singer-songwriter Beck have seen demand for their respective albums soar following success at the Grammy Awards last Sunday (8th February).

According to online retailer Amazon.co.uk, sales of Sam Smith’s debut album ‘In The Lonely Hour’ have more than tripled since the 22-year-old took home four Grammys.

Sales of the album have increased by an incredible 233%, representing a huge boost of interest in the British singer.

At the Grammys he was awarded the top prize in categories including Record of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Meanwhile Beck’s rock inspired album ‘Morning Phase’ has seen sales rocket by an astonishing 1342%.

The album took home the prestigious Album of The Year Award at this year’s Grammys, despite Kanye West’s disapproval, and was also named Best Album of 2014 by Amazon.co.uk last year.
