The Despicable Me 3 soundtrack, released at the end of this month, will feature five brand new songs by the GRAMMY Award winner, Pharrell Williams.

Four years ago Pharrell recorded 'Happy' for the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack and he's back with even more fantastic songs.

At the time of release 'Happy' went to number one across the world and, to date it is Pharrell's only UK solo number one.

In total the Despicable Me 3 soundtrack features eight songs by Pharrell plus some classics from Michael Jackson, a-Ha and Nena.

On the 9th June Pharrell dropped the music video for his new single from the soundtrack, 'Yellow Light' which shows the singer and the Minions journey through the streets of Hollywood in a virtual video game.

Despicable Me 3 will see Steve Carell reprise his role as the lovable villain Gru, however this time he also plays the part of Dru, Gru's long lost brother! Kristen Wiig returns as super-spy Lucy and multi award winner Trey Parker voices a new villain, Balthazar Bratt who is a former child star.

Pharrell recently performed at Ariana Grande's One Love concert held in aid of the victims and their families from the Manchester bombing last month.

The 44-year-old singer took to the stage performing two of his hits including 'Get Lucky' which he performed with Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons. He finished his set by duetting with Miley Cyrus on his Despicable Me 2 hit 'Happy'.

The soundtrack for Despicable Me 3 is out on the 23rd June and the film is in cinemas on the 30th June.
