It was perhaps the most hilarious episode of Love Island to date last night when the couples were given fake babies to look after in the villa.

Alex and Montana, Jamie and Camilla, Marcel and Gabby, Chris and Olivia, Kem and Amber and Sam and Georgia were all given their mini me and had to look after it like it was their own baby.

Whilst some failed miserably (looking at you Sam), others including lovable Islander Chris Hughes exceeded, leaving viewers at home in fits of laughter.

Chris and Olivia decided to call their baby Cash Hughes, Olivia's reasoning because it's 'money' and Chris' reasoning that it sounds like 'Cashew'. 😂

Chris took his parenting roles extremely serious, chatting to his son, taking him for a swim, feeding him, napping with him, and even shedding a few tears whilst holding him.

Oh Chris! ❤️❤️❤️

Viewers took to Twitter to express their love for Chris after the scene:

During the show one fan created a Twitter account for little Cash Hughes and proceeded to write some hilarious tweets throughout and after the episode about his parents Chris and Olivia.

One tweet touched on the drama between Olivia and 'Muggy Mike', it read, 'getting a DNA test, what if muggy mike is my actual dad?? #loveisland #muggymike'

Other tweets included Cash praising his dad for looking after him...

Since appearing last night, at the time of this publication the account has an unbelievable 25.7K followers.

Hilarious! 😂

As all of the Islanders passed the task, minus Kem and Amber, and Sam and Georgia, they were rewarded with an amazing looking glitter party.

Despite all of the Islanders looking incredible, things soon turned sour when a text arrived confirming one of the couples were about to dumped!

Viewers had been voting for their least favourite and whilst Alex and Montana, and Gaby and Marcel found themselves in the bottom three, it was Sam and Georgia who lost their place.

It hasn't yet been confirmed if there will be another dumping before Monday night's final, but if this series is anything to go by, we can expect more twists and turns!

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
