Phidizz named The Prince's Trust National Breakthrough Award Winner 2020
The 26-year-old has turned his life around with a positive future in the music industry

The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities, so they help 11 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives; helping to get them into jobs, education and training.
The Trust’s programmes help young people get the skills and confidence they need to get their lives on track and last year the charity helped empower over 60,000 people turn their lives around.
KISS has partnered up with The Prince's Trust Awards and TK Maxx & Homesense Awards and is pleased to announce that Phidizz has been named the National HSBC UK Breakthrough Award Winner 2020. This award recognises the progress of young people in overcoming barriers and developing new skills.

Phidizz' Story
School was not a happy experience for Phidizz. He found it tough to make the jump to secondary school and got involved with crime and anti-social behaviour at a young age.
He was affiliated with a gang at 14, permanently excluded from school at 15 and homeless by the age of 17.
He knew he couldn't go on this way and moved to Leicester where he was introduced to mentor, Yasin, who ran a recording studio and record label.
Yasin was working with The Prince's Trust and saw potential in Phidizz and his music. Through his support and The Prince's Trust, Phidizz was able to leave his previous life behind and put all his energy into music.
Yasin's help inspired Phidizz to help other people through music. Phidizz is now training to be a mentor and has volunteered for The Prince's Trust by sharing his story with other young people.
