The Show Must Go On is an online series of shows that has helped fill the heartbreaking hole left by theatres closing during the pandemic. Put on by Universal, the shows are streamed on YouTube and then available for 48 hours.

The YouTube channel has continued to upload individual performances from some of the most well known shows in theatre including Cats and Hairspray as part of their Stay Home With Me series.

In a statement, Universal said: "A new series will return every weekend from mid-August" and added that the final broadcast of Joseph, starring Donnie Osmond, is an "encore" and brings the series "back to where it all began".

Although they're free to watch, fans have been encouraged to donate to theatres and arts organisations hit hardest during the pandemic.
