Esteemed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber will be releasing many of his iconic musicals for free online so fans can stream them right to their living rooms.

Starting with Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, on Friday 3rd April, the full performance will be available for 48 hours on YouTube allowing fans to watch over the weekend.

Fans of musicals can subscribe to the The Shows Must Go On! channel on YouTube, which is described as, 'The channel bringing you showtunes, backstage access and full performances from some of the best loved musicals in history!'.

Ahead of the show's premiere online you can also set yourself a reminder on YouTube so you don't miss out.

Although it is free to watch these musicals, viewers are being encouraged to donate to Acting for Others, Broadway Cares and Actors Benevolent Fund.

Over the Easter weekend, Andrew Lloyd Webber's 2012 production of Jesus Christ Superstar, with Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles, will also be streamed, What's On Stage reports.

This exciting news comes a few days after Andrew Lloyd Webber was joined online by the entire orchestra, to perform 'All I Ask of You' from Phantom of The Opera.

The composer, who has worked on several very popular musicals including, Cats, Evita and Starlight Express, is currently in self-isolation, however that hasn't stopped him updating fans on social media.

Not only did he team up with The Phantom of The Opera orchestra, he's also working towards Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella which is due to open in October 2020.
