What's Singing in the Rain about?

Based on Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's legendary 1952 movie musical of the same name, Singin' in the Rain takes us back to 1920s Hollywood where the movie industry is about to change forever with the introduction of the 'talkies', which will eventually wipe out the classic silent movie.

Movie stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are forced to quickly adapt when their studio tries the new format, unfortunately, they are hit with problems when Lina's voice doesn't quite suit a movie musical. Don asks for the help of chorus girl Kathy Seldon who will dub over Lina's unique voice, but can she stay hidden behind the microphone forever?

Where can I see Singin' in the Rain?

Following its opening in Canterbury, Singin' in the Rain will be heading to Woking, Southend, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Birmingham, Southampton, Liverpool, Wimbledon, Nottingham, Bradford, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Plymouth.
