Everyday we are shining a spotlight on essential workers up and down the nation who are keeping the country running during the coronavirus crisis.

This series celebrates the selfless work of the key people keeping Britain moving. From across the country and from a range of roles and backgrounds, these are stories that deserve to be heard, if only so we can say thank you.

We’ll hear from: Critical care workers, maternity nurses, GPs, teachers, carers, bus drivers, the police force, paramedics, ambulance drivers, firemen, delivery drivers, post-office workers, hospital chaplains, corner-shop workers, supermarket staff, medical researchers, call centre staff, train drivers, bin men, those who keep our power stations operational .. and more.
