TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Win a Transatlantic Crossing for Two People on board Queen Mary 2” (the “Prize Draw”)

The promoter of this Prize Draw is The Prince’s Trust, a company incorporated by Royal Charter (RC000772), registered as a charity in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198),with its registered office at 8 Glade Path, London, SE1 8EG (“we”, “us”).

For your chance to Win a Transatlantic Crossing for Two People on board Queen Mary 2, text CRUISE to 70545 (Scala), 70544 (Magic), 70546 (Planet Rock) or 70548 (generic) by 8am on October the 16th 2020. Texts cost one standard network rate message plus a voluntary donation of £5, should you choose to give one, 100% of which goes to The Prince’s Trust. You may cancel your donation by replying “CANCEL” within 60 MINUTES of receiving our text confirming your entry. If you cancel your donation your entry will still be counted.

Entries without a donation have the same chance of winning as entries accompanied by a donation.

RULES

  1. Key Dates. Start Date and Time: Monday 28th of September 2020 at 6am. End Date and Time: Friday 16th of October 2020 at 8am. Any entries received before the Start Date and Time or after the End Date and Time will not be counted but you may still be charged.
  1. Donations. By entering this Prize Draw you are agreeing that unless you reply “CANCEL” within 60 minutes of receiving our text confirming your entry, you will donate £5 to The Prince’s Trust from your mobile phone bill. The Prince’s Trust will receive 100% of the donation.
  1. Limitations and restrictions. Entry is limited to one entry per person. Only open to people who: (i) live in the United Kingdom (ii) are 18 years or over at the date of their entry. Our employees (and their immediate family members) or employees of any company involved in the Prize Draw, including any third party sponsors, Carnival plc, Bauer Radio Limited or any other company in the Bauer Media group cannot enter this Prize Draw, nor benefit from, nor participate in the Prize. Entries that are completed or entered by means not in compliance with these Prize Draw Terms (in our sole opinion) will be disqualified.
  1. Costs. Texts cost one standard network rate message plus a voluntary donation, should you choose to give one, which will be donated to The Prince’s Trust (registered charity no. 1079675) You may also enter this Prize Draw without giving a donation, and these entries have the same chance of winning as entries which are accompanied by donations.

You may cancel your donation by replying “CANCEL” within 60 MINUTES of receiving our text confirming your entry. If you choose to cancel your donation, you will only be charged your standard network rate and we will not process your £5 donation. For the avoidance of doubt, if you cancel your donation your entry will still be counted. You must have permission from the bill payer before texting.

  1. Draw details and winner announcement. The winning entry will be drawn at random from the valid entries received by the closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this decision.
  1. The winner will be notified using the details provided at entry by 30 November 2020. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoters will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.Prize details. The prize is for a seven night transatlantic crossing for two people on-board Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 vessel, sharing a balcony stateroom (BB, BC or BF categories) chosen from a selection of dates in 2021 (the “Prize”). The provider of the Prize is Carnival plc trading as Cunard with its registered office being Carnival House, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom, SO15 1ST (“Cunard”).
  1. Prize includes accommodation as stated above, as well as on board main meals (excluding specialty restaurants in which a cover charge will apply), entertainment and most facilities on board. Prize also includes economy flights between London and New York. Prize does not include transport to or from the port or airports, travel insurance (adequate insurance is a condition of travel), drinks, excursions, luggage fees or other personal expenses incurred.
  1. Prize is non-transferrable, non-exchangable and no cash alternative will be offered. The winner’s booking of the chosen Transatlantic Crossing must be confirmed by 31 January 2021.
  1. Cunard reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Cunard’s control makes it necessary to do so, including but not limited to, the cancellation of the cruise in accordance with government guidelines.The winners will be bound by Cunard’s booking conditions which can be found at https://www.cunard.com/content/dam/cunard/marketing-assets/pdf/booking-condition-pdf/cunard-booking-conditions-may-19.pdf and must have a full valid passport (with validity 6 months or more beyond the date of travel.
  1. Data Protection and Privacy. Your personal data will collected when you enter the Prize Draw and will be used to process your entry and otherwise for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw. Carnival plc t/a Cunard will receive the winner's personal data in order to facilitate redemption of the Prize. Personal information provided to Cunard will be processed in accordance with Cunard’s privacy notice at cunard.com/privacy.

  1. Other conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all liability for any costs, expenses, loss or damage whether direct, indirect, consequential or economic arising (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) out of or in connection with your participation in the Prize Draw, entry into these Prize Draw Terms or receipt or use or misuse of the Prizes.
  1. Our choice of winners is final and we will not engage in any correspondence or discussion about this decision or about the operation of this Prize Draw. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, which delay or prevent your participation. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this Prize Draw if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
  1. No term of these Prize Draw Terms shall be enforceable by any person who is not a party to them either under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise. The Prize Draw and these terms are governed by the laws of England and entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts in relation to any dispute arising hereunder.
  1. By participating in this Prize Draw, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless any company in the Bauer Media group, related companies, and prize suppliers, as well as their directors, officers, advisors and employees from and against any and all claims, liability, costs, losses, damages or injuries of any kind arising out of or related to your participation in the Prize Draw or your breach of these Prize Draw Terms.
