Fans are convinced Adele and Sam Smith are the same person

They are both multi-award winning recording artists, but could Adele and Sam Smith actually be the same person?! It sounds truly unbelieveable to us, but recently a video has emerged of Adele's voice slowed down, and it sound very like the 'Too Good At Goodbyes' singer, Sam Smith.
In the short video uploaded to Twitter, Adele's song 'Hello' can been heard played at the normal speed on a record player, it is then slowed down and sounds very like Sam Smith, before being sped up again.
The tweet has now had over 300K likes and 300K retweets with many commenting on how alike they sound. One user even said, 'I've always said Sam Smith sounds like the male version of Adele lol, looks like it was true!'.
If you weren't convinced by the first video, then the user uploaded a second video comparing another of Adele's songs.
The conspiracy rumours continue as fans begin to compare the similarities between the two, with both artists having won BRITS Critics' Choice Awards as well as Billboard Awards and multiple GRAMMYs AND they have both recorded James Bond theme songs.

Sam Fender has become hugely popular over the last couple of years, so it's no surprise he won the award in 2019. His debut album 'Hypersonic Missiles' was adored by fans.
Sam dropped his second album ' Seventeen Going Under' in October 2021 and has since sold out shows across the world.
Despite these similarities Sam Smith has previously been reported saying that he doesn't like to be compared to Adele. He told Rolling Stone magazine, "It just annoys me that people can't digest two pop stars singing really personal songs who don't look like normal pop stars."
Away from comparing the two, Adele is currently taking a break from music. She finished her world tour in London last year, after having to make the devastating decision to cancel the last two shows of her tour.
The 'Hello' singer recently posted the photo of herself dressed as her idol Dolly Parton. She was wearing a big blonde wig and a dusty pink trouser suit with a white blouse and captioned the photo, 'The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I'll always love you x'.
Meanwhile, Sam Smith has recently asked for fans' artwork, saying he will be changing his profile image to different artwork sent in by his fans. The first fan to be chosen is Chow Kong Chuen, who goes under the handle @chowciaochow.
His watercolour art is being seen by 8.7 million Instagram followers, 6.6 million Twitter followers and 6 million Facebook fans. Amazing!
