She's one of the most famous faces on TV fronting ITV daytime show Lorraine every weekday morning, but it appears Lorraine Kelly fans didn't know one major fact about her!
The 61-year-old presenter received the first dose of her Coronavirus vaccine over the weekend, and in a post urging her Twitter followers to get vaccinated, Lorraine revealed her real name!
Holding up her vaccination card, the post revealed a 'Lorraine Smith' received the first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine...
She wrote alongside the snap, 'Vaccinated! So relieved! Easy peasy - didn’t feel a thing - thanks so much to all the cheery volunteers and NHS staff who made it SO simple!! Please please get vaccinated!! We are so lucky to have the opportunity Xxx'. (sic)
Fans of the Scottish presenter were quick to comment on her post, revealing their shock at the name Smith.
One follower wrote, 'Fantastic news! Lorraine Smith! I am shook haha', with another adding, 'Who’s Lorraine Smith!!'. Another then wrote, 'Lorraine Smith ??? We’re you incognito?' (sic)
Another baffled fan wrote, 'I had no idea your current surname was Smith!! My full name is Lauren Kelly & I’ve been called Lorraine Kelly (or LK today!!!) my entire life, my partners surname is Smith so I may also end up a smith one day. Twinning'. (sic)
After seeing the confusion, Lorraine was quick to clear things up, revealing Smith is her married name, replying to one fan saying, 'Smith is my married name'.
