The Royals share heartwarmingly candid photos for Prince Charles' 70th birthday

Prince Charles has turned 70-years-old today (14th November) - and to celebrate, Clarence House have shared some beautiful new pictures of the Royal Family.

Taking to the official Instagram profile, the Royal social media person posted two stunning photos of HRH and his immediate family, with grandson Prince George sat on his knee as everyone else smiles for the camera.

Clarence House shared the photo with the caption, 'Two new photographs of The Prince of Wales and his family have been released to celebrate HRH’s 70th birthday. The photos were taken by @chrisjacksongetty in the garden of Clarence House.'

But there was a second, more candid photo of the family, which showed Meghan and Prince George laughing at something off-camera, as Camilla fondly put her arm around Princess Charlotte to point out whatever it was.

Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, managed to keep their expressions poised along with Charles, but Prince Harry - who is well-known for his cheeky nature - also cracked a smile.

Although fans loved the official photo, it was the more natural photo that warmed the hearts of fans around the world. Many took to the comments to share their joy over the beautiful photo, which has garnered nearly 110,000 likes in less than 12 hours already.

One person wrote, 'Gorgeous family and such a great, honest photo!' as another added, 'That’s an amazing photo! So beautiful and so happy!' and another wrote, 'Gorgeous, natural, happy photo.'
