Police officer wows crowd after 911 call out turns into a dance off

He was called out to the scene which turned out to be a music video shoot.

After what he thought was a 911 call out to break up a fight, a Durham (Toronto) police officer got involved with what turned out to be a dance-off.

Const. Jarrod Singh was called out to a suspected fight, when he realised that after assessing the situation, it was in fact a music video shoot.

"I saw eight people gathered around one person, so I can see how a member of the public thought it was a fight," said the constable.

"But when I got closer I could see he was break dancing in the middle and there was someone filming it."

Not one to turn down a dance opportunity, Singh joined in with the dance off, wowing the crowd with his moves.

According to Durham police, before becoming an officer, Singh belonged to a dance troupe at Durham College.

The video of the officer busting a move alongside the dancer was posted on the CBC Arts Facebook page, where it has racked up a huge 2.3 million views.

That's one smooth policeman.
