Annette Bening on 20th Century Women: 'My husband was really moved by it'
The critically acclaimed film also stars Elle Fanning and Greta Gerwig.
Annette Bening has revealed her husband, actor Warren Beatty, got emotional while watching her latest film 20th Century Women, because it got him thinking about their kids.
The Hollywood couple have been married since 1992 and have four children, Stephen, Benjamin, Isabel and Ella.
The film is based on the director Mike Mills' childhood, with Annette playing Dorothea, a single mum who enlists help from Abbie (played by Greta Gerwig) and Julie (Elle Fanning) to raise her son.
She told us she hopes men aren't put off seeing the movie because of the title, making the point that women often see films about men.
Annette also gave us the details of her relationship with her feline co-star, admitting she had to act oblivious around the cat because it was 'cool'.
