There have been some incredible releases this year, from old and new artists. We've put together our top ten favourites!

1. Dancing On My Own – Calum Scott

'Dancing On My Own' was originally released by Swedish singer Robyn in 2010, but it has found a lot of success this year with Calum Scott's version, which reached No.2 in the UK.

2. When We Were Young – Adele

This was released as the second single from Adele's third album, '25', and received a lot of critical acclaim for the lyrics, as well as Adele's stand-out vocal performance.

3. Pray With Me – Rick Astley

'Pray With Me' came from Rick's first album in over 10 years! '50' was entirely written, sung and recorded by Rick himself, and shot to No.1 in the UK album chart earlier this year. This is his amazing performance of the song at The Magic of Christmas, in November this year.

4. Don't Lose Your Steam – Gregory Porter

'Don't Lose Your Steam' is the second song on Gregory's album 'Take Me to the Alley', which won him a 2017 Grammy Award nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album. This is Gregory's gorgeous performance of the track for Magic.

5. Beats To Your Rhythm – The Shires

The Shires are a British country duo, and have had phenomenal success this year. Their second album, 'My Universe', became the fastest-selling UK country album in history in October this year! 'Beats To Your Rhythm' was released as the first single from the album.

6. Guilty Flowers – Ward Thomas

Ward Thomas are another British country duo who have found success this year. Twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas are following in the footsteps of The Shires, and bringing country music to the UK with a British twist. 'Guilty Flowers' was the second single from their new album, 'Cartwheels'.

7. I Believe In You – Michael Bublé

'I Believe in You' is the first song on Michael's album 'Nobody But Me', which he released earlier this year. Michael said of the album, "I don't know that I've ever had this much fun working on an album".

'Dance' is another track from Rick's first album in over 10 years, '50'. Rick released 'Dance' in July earlier this year, and performed the track at The Magic of Christmas in November!

9. Breathing Underwater – Emeli Sande

This is Emeli's second single from her second studio album, 'Long Live The Angels', and we absolutely love it. She performed an amazing live version of the song at The Magic of Christmas!

10. Everglow – Coldplay

'Everglow' is the fourth single from the band's seventh studio album, 'A Head Full of Dreams'. The beautiful track features Chris Martin in a stripped-down version of the original album track. We dare you not to fall in love with his vocals in this video!
