Meet Harley Bird, a 15-year-old actress and the voice behind Peppa Pig!

You might not recognise her face, but you'll definitely recognise her voice!

Harley Bird isn't just any 15-year-old actress. Since she was 5 years old, she has played the voice of Peppa in the children's animated series Peppa Pig!

Harley started out at Alphabet Kidz Talent Agency aged 5, and quickly gained the role of Peppa, replacing the previous actors. She has also starred in CBBC's Newsround and Kevin Macdonald's film How I Live Now, playing the youngest sister Piper.

Harley is also the youngest ever British Academy Film Award winner, as she won the Performer award at the 2011 British Academy Children's Awards for her Peppa Pig voice-over. Pretty impressive as she was only 9 years old at the time!

We caught up with Harley a few days ago, when she gave us a bit of insight into what life as Peppa is like. She told us about her performing arts school, as well as her only recently-discovered ability to snort. Peppa's famous snort originally had to be done by a professional 'snorter'!

On what Harley would like the public to know about her, she replied: "Yes I might play the voice of a 4-year-old pig, but I'm also a teenage girl, and I have another life separate to Peppa."
