Mamma Mia! The Party is coming to London Waterloo

Bjorn is opening a Greek taverna-style restaurant!

If you're a Mamma Mia! superfan, take a seat and grab your smelling salts before reading this.

Mamma Mia! The Party, a completely immersive stage show and dining experience, is being brought to London by ACTUAL Bjorn Ulvaeus!

The ABBA star, together with producer Ingrid Sutej, has requested planning permission to recreate a Greek taverna in Waterloo, which will host a Mamma Mia! spin-off show. The show will include songs from the musical, and will also feature new characters and a brand new story to bring in new audiences.

Mamma Mia! The Party has already opened in Stockholm, and has been running successfully there since January 2016.

Bjorn Ulvaeus told CNN that at his Stockholm branch, "at the end of each performance people stand up and sing and dance in the aisles.

"There's like a party mood. I always had a feeling that if people could have gone on to have a party they would."

It seems that the combination of musical theatre and delicious grub has been getting popularity in the capital city lately: fast-food chain Leon recently launched their West End branch, where all the waiters and waitresses must also be able to sing and dance.

It has to be said, a song and dance number is always better with a slice of pizza in hand.
