Neev Spencer is a TV and Radio broadcaster best known for her multiple award-winning radio shows. She’s one of the UK’s most loved & listened-to broadcast personalities and the first British Asian to cross over into mainstream radio, turning every show she’s anchored into a market leader. Neev is an accomplished host, compere, writer & DJ.
As of the industry’s most bookable names across her 15-year career, she’s toured the world as a DJ at major venues and events supporting the likes of David Guetta and Hardwell. She’s performed & hosted for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Smirnoff, London Fashion Week, Red Bull, Nokia, Grazia and Cosmopolitan Magazine – to name a few.
Alongside her Radio work, Neev is frequently seen on mainstream Television offering her views on various subjects from GMB to Sky News with her years of live radio giving her great experience in adapting to live tv. Beyond her radio & TV work, Neev is a passionate supporter and ambassador for five charities, including The Prince’s Trust and Best Beginnings. From hosting the Teenage Cancer Trust’s concert at the Royal Albert Hall to an Iftar Mental Health Fundraiser at Kensington Palace, Neev is trusted by organisations to deliver any event with poise, professionalism and humour.
In 2017 she embarked on a journey of Mental health campaigning appearing as an expert panellist on BBC 5 Live’s ‘Mental Health Mum Takeover’. She subsequently hosted the Maternal Mental Health Awards and made a film about her own experience of post-natal depression for the Royal Foundation’s movement Heads Together.
Since moving into this important sector Neev has been asked to speak to MPs in the House of Commons and that same year spearheaded the radio industry’s hugely effective Mental Health Minute – an unprecedented event, which saw 300 stations coming together to raise awareness.
Neev is called upon to host events such as Music 4 Mental Health, interviewing celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Ella Eyre and Olly Murs on the subject of Mental well-being. Neev has chaired a debate on youth violence at Google HQ with HRH the Prince of Wales and continues to offer the skills to charities who need her unique presenting style.
2021-22 Post-pandemic Neev has been back out and about solo hosting for various significant events such as The Radio Centre’s tuning in. The Glomama Awards and The Best Beginnings Gala dinner at Mansion House. She has also moved into hosting Hollywood Q&A’s with actors such as Andy Serkis & most recently for Apple TV with Gary Oldman.
Her talent and radio experience has most recently led to a new and exciting move to Magic Radio where she takes over the weekday afternoons from 1pm. She is also about to embark on a new role with mental health charity Hidden Strength where she will host a brand new podcast series and recently won ‘Best Radio Presenter’ at the AM Media Awards in Manchester. January 2023 has started off with a bang as Neev joins Ideal World TV taking over the ITV presenting slots. Bringing into the world of Live TV weekly.
For International Women’s Day in 2023 Neev embarked on her biggest charity mission to date by trekking the Annapurna Trek in Nepal in aid of fighting Human Trafficking for charity One Family Global.
