Now that it's less than a week until Christmas hopefully you've done most of your Christmas shopping.

While the searching for presents can be fun, the next step of wrapping them is less exciting for many.

This year WHSmith have employed gift wrapping style expert, Jane Means to do some 'how to' videos on wrapping unusually shaped presents.

These simple videos show you how to wrap a plant, a bottle and how to give an 'easy' book a stylish twist.

Jane has also given her top five tips to make wrapping easier: · Make sure to work from a clutter-free surface which is waist height (a kitchen counter or dining table). Have everything ready, pop on some festive music and even invite your friends around. Make wrapping a fun occasion. · Buy all your materials in advance. Leaving it to the last minute can be stressful. · Raid your closets and drawers for old decorations, left over baubles that didn’t fit on the tree, costume jewellery – all these can be added as eye catching embellishments. You can also add some holly, twigs, ivy, etc from a garden to add a natural touch. · Always use double sided tape wherever possible as it will immediately give a polished professional finish. · Choose different styles of wrapping paper which complement each other such as red and gold. They look eye-catching grouped together and if you have to join two sheets for a larger gift, it will look like a creative masterpiece.
