Olly Murs, Marcus Mumford and James Bay will be taking to the football pitch to raise money for those affected by the Grenfell fire.

Game4Grenfell will take place at Queen Park Rovers' stadium in West London - just one mile from the tower.

The charity match is the brainchild of QPR's manager Les Ferdinand, who grew up in the area. Not only has he enlisted a star line up - with Damian Lewis, Tinie Tempah and Jamie Dornan also taking to the field - he's also got a group of former professional players on board too.

Alan Shearer, David Seaman and Ally McCoist are among those set to dust off their boots to take on the stars - while Peter Crouch will feature alongside his firefighter best friend Gregg Jules, who was involved in the relief effort.

Les Ferdinand told us why he arranged the game saying, "I grew up playing football in that area, the obvious thing for me was could we put a football match on that would bring the community together that would try and help in the process of healing."

Marcus Mumford and Les Ferdinand will take to the field at Loftus Road Stadium.

Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford's involvement goes further than just the game on 2nd September. He headed to the area as soon as he heard about the fire, and has been working with victims and community centres ever since.

Marcus plans to help as long as is needed, saying "up until now I haven't felt it's been appropriate for me to speak publicly about it, because there's been too much to do. We don't want it to be forgotten and don't want these ongoing issues to be ignored".

QPR are also running free summer football camps for children from the area - providing much needed childcare from 10-4 every week day over the next 6 weeks.

The summer fun will come to an end on match day - with some of the kids getting to take part in a special game too.

Two thousand tickets will be given to those affected by the fire, including residents, emergency services and volunteers.

Nicholas Burton, who lived on the 19th floor of Grenfell Tower and was rescued by firefighters two and half hours after the fire broke out, told us it will make for an unforgettable day: "They'll remember this for the rest of their lives, the kids and the families. To have that day, the pressure off...it's just a fun game and for the people that love football, it's going to be amazing."

Tickets cost £15 for adults and £5 for concessions. You can buy tickets here
