Perrie 'knew' ex Zayn Malik was trouble
We look at their breakup feud so far...
Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has admitted that she knew ex-fiance Zayn Malik was trouble.
Appearing on a music show, the band mates began discussing their new single ‘Hair’ (which is about breakups) when Perrie said she ‘knew’ he was no good for her.
There’s been a continuous feud since the ex-One Direction star apparently broke up with the 22-year-old over text. Here’s a look back to what’s happened since then.
August – In an interview with US TV channel E! Perrie holds back tears and she’s asked how she’s doing. The answer’s simply ‘good thank you’ with her band mates saying they didn’t want to talk about it.
Then later on in the month Perrie broke down in tears on stage during a live performance. Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson told the crowd it’d been a long day. Then an Instagram post pictured the four girls hugging saying they don’t know what they’d do without each other.
September – Zayn is linked with Burberry model Neelam Gill. Some say he’s trying to make Perrie jealous, while other sources say he text Perrie to say they’re just ‘good friends’ and he didn’t want to hurt her.
October – Rumours about Perrie Edwards and Joey Essex dating turned out to be false, with other sources saying it made ex, Zayn, jealous. The 'Wings' star then apparently referred to him as ‘whats-his-face’ in an interview with a national newspaper.
Later on in the month there were reports saying that Zayn has been texting the 22-year-old saying he still loves and misses her. The insider suggested that Perrie still loves him too.
Now – Perrie says she knew he was no good for her. Zayn, it's your move.
We don't know what the future holds for the pair but we don't think they'll be getting back together anytime soon.
Zayn's currently working on his solo career and signed with RCA records in July. Meanwhile Little Mix are due to go on tour early next year to promote their third album 'Get Weird'.
