Zayn Malik 'still loves' Little Mix's Perrie says insider
There's rumours he's been texting her
After apparently dumping Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards over text, it’s rumoured Zayn Malik has been messaging his ex – saying he still loves her.
A source told the Daily Star that the former One Direction member has been texting her, saying he misses her. Despite putting on a brave face, the insider added it's ‘obvious’ to everyone around Perrie that she still has feelings for him too.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride since the now solo-artist called an end to their engagement earlier this year. We’ve seen cryptic tweets on both sides and heartbreaking moments of the Little Mix star almost crying in an interview with US TV channel E! and then bursting into tears mid-performance on the Today Show.
Even though band mate Jesy explained it’d been a long day, we think the break-up might have taken its toll. It’s all about girl power though – as the girls posted this picture to show their support for her.
It was only a month ago there were more rumours that Zayn told Perrie that despite speculation, he wasn’t dating Burberry model Neelam Gill, which suggests to us that he still cares. But other rumours imply he's a bit jealous since the 'Word Up!' star was linked to Joey Essex.
It's all very confusing for now and the pair apparently haven't even had the chance to talk face-to-face yet.
Zayn's currently working on his solo career and signed with RCA records in July. Meanwhile Little Mix are due to go on tour early next year to promote their third album 'Get Weird'.
