15 ways your house says you're officially an adult

We're not quite sure how it happens but we eventually grow up, whether it's getting cushions on your sofa, a fancy cutlery set, or different towels for every part of your body, here are 15 ways our home says we're officially an adult.
1) Cushions
There are cushions on your sofa​, on your bed, basically if there's a surface we've put cushions on it, because being comfy sat down is what life is all about now.
2) Spice Rack
You own a spice rack, because you never know when that tin of beans might need some paprika. How many can you name?
3) Medicine Cabinet
You have a medicine cabinet or box and tablets for ailments you've never even had or heard about! Safety first kids.
4) Blankets
The blanket on your sofa. We no longer have to be told to nap, we love it and we do it in style, the comfiest style. And relax...
5) Cutlery
There's no random cutlery in your house, your cutlery came in a fancy box and now it all matches, unlike those student days!
6) Candles
You love candles, not the ones on your birthday cake, but the ones that make your home smell amazing. ​
7) Towels
Gone are the days of using your beach towel for everything, these days you have separate towels for your hands, face, body and hair. You'll probably find you fold them up carefully too now, rather than just leaving them in a pile!
8) Napkins
Gone are the kitchen roll days, now you always have napkins, and know how to fold them. You made a swan once and it was glorious...
9) Flowers
You might officially be an adult if you have plants, dotted around house, and they are all alive...for now.
10) Drinks glasses
You have different glasses for different drinks. Beer, wine, a cocktail and for when it gets really crazy on a night in...a shot glass.
11) Toolbox
You own a toolbox, because you're an adult now and you're the boss at fixing things. Now where is that screwdriver?
12) Lawnmower
With being an adult comes the responsibility of looking after a garden if you have one. And you will own a lawnmower and make cutting the grass look cool.
13) IKEA
You own at least one piece of furniture from Ikea and often spend the day there (mainly because you can't find your way out).
14) Wall Art
You have a piece of art on your wall, you have no idea who the artist is, but just owning it proves you're cultured right?
15) Wine
There is always wine, either in a rack, the fridge or even better your glass! But remember, always drink responsibly!
