Four taken to hospital after crash in Moray

Four people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A96 in Moray.

Four people are in hospital after being seriously injured in a two-car crash in Moray.

A 29-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, both from Germany, were hurt when their white Corsa collided with a red Corsa on the Fochabers to Elgin section of the A96 on Wednesday.

A 24-year-old man and 25-year-old woman in the red Corsa were also seriously injured in the accident at the Urquhart junction near Lhanbryde at about 4pm.

The 29-year-old man was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness while the other casualties were taken initially to Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, but later transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
