Pensioner faces historical sexual abuse charges at Inverness BB camp

An 83-year-old man has appeared in court accused of carrying out sex attacks on a boy at a Boys Brigade camp in the 1970s.
Colin Robertson faces further charges of attacking another boy in the 1980s - as well as supplying the boy with "pornographic material" and alcohol.
Robertson is first alleged to have targeted a boy aged between 13 and 15 between March 1977 and March 1980 at addresses in Dundee and at a Boys Brigade camp in Inverness.
He is alleged to have had an "unnatural carnal connection" with the boy, used lewd indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour with him and indecently assaulted him on various occasions.
Robertson is then alleged to have targeted the second boy at addresses in Dunde and Perthshire when the boy was aged between 10 and 13.
He faces charges of using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour and indecent assaulting the boy between July 1982 and July 1986.
He faces further charges of attacking the boy after he turned 14 by indecently assaulting him.
Robertson appeared in private on petition before Sheriff Alastair Carmichael at Dundee Sheriff Court.
His solicitor, Lee Corr, made no plea on his behalf and asked for him to be allowed to remain free on bail, which was granted.
The case was committed for further examination and he was released on bail pending further court dates being set.
