Scott Brown says claims from Breidablik coach Oskar Thorvaldsson that he is a bully are 'ridiculous'.

The Aberdeen captain was accused of entering the Icelandic side's dressing room in the aftermath of their Europa Conference League tie.

Thorvaldsson accused the Dons of being disrespectful and singled out former Celtic skipper Brown in particular.

Brown replied: "I thought his comments were a little bit ridiculous, but he obviously didn't like me saying that to him.

“He's saying that I'm a bully now but that's life."

The Icelandic coach blasted Brown and his teammates after being angered by the manner of their defeat and what followed.

Thorvaldsson said: "They came to our locker room, tried to come in and yelled some very ugly and disrespectful comments.

"They were really pissed about my comments but behaving like that is childish.

“I might have been a bit harsh with my comments but Aberdeen’s players are grown-ups.

“I am not really surprised about Scott Brown. He is after all one of the most acclaimed bullies.

“I am not surprised at that but I am surprised about the 33-year-old goalkeeper behaving like a five-year-old.

“Scott Brown can say what he wants but he can’t try to come into our locker room and try to abuse our players.”
