Family Breakfast Club Project
We granted £12,500 to the project.
£12,500 towards the Family Breakfast Club Project between Kittybrewster Congregational Church and Powis Gateway Community Project, the total cost of which is £18,270.
This project aims to provide breakfast for 20 children each school day as there are some whose only ‘proper’ meal of the day is the free school lunch. Their parents are also invited, making this a family event. After which parents will arrange to get their children to school, a way of encouraging parents to take responsibility for their children. The Breakfast will not only benefit the youngsters’ health but their education and general welfare.
