Each year Cash for Kids in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire receives applications to help thousands of local children from families, social work departments, schools and local projects in our areas

The support for Cash for Kids ensures that with the aid of your fundraising and donations, children facing financial, emotional and physical challenges are given encouragement and comfort. This can include helping families to buy Christmas presents and other treats that many of us take for granted.

"Asda Stores across Scotland have supported Cash for Kids for the last 10 years and in that time have raised over £3 million. As Scotland's favourite supermarket we like to give something back to the community that we live and work in and that is why we have chosen to support Cash for Kids. Not only does all the money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland but Cash for Kids guarantees that all the money raised in each of our stores locations is then distributed back into these areas. This ensures that our customers are truly helping us to make a massive difference in the communities we live and operate in. I would also like to say a big Thank You to our community colleagues in each store who do an amazing job in raising awareness and funds with our other colleagues and customers. Finally a huge Thank You must go to the generosity of our customers who are always very supportive in these challenging times. Without your support we could not help this great Scottish charity." - Kevin McBride Vice President Retail North
