In recent days, rumours that Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry is pregnant with Sam Gowland's child have been circulating. However, whilst nothing has been confirmed by either TV star, a Twitter troll took it upon themselves to fat shame Chloe.

The Geordie Shore star received a mean DM from a user who said, 'Sorry, you’ve got a fat bum darling'. Chloe responded saying, 'Trust me DARLING it’s good to have a fat a--e 😉'.

Her response was liked on Twitter over 1000 times in just a few hours and received support from a number of her fans who tweeted messages such as,

'Why would you feel the need to tweet her that? She’s perfect 👌🏻 I wish I had a bum like her ✌🏻' and 'Your a--e isn't fat Chloe. Its absolutely perfect xxx'.

This comment comes just days after Chloe and her boyfriend Sam teased fans with 'big news'. The couple took to Instagram posting similar photos over the weekend.

Sam wrote, 'Can’t describe how buzzing I am with the news we’ve had today !!! Can’t wait to show use all soon ❤️'. sic

Chloe also posted a photo with the caption, 'Found out the best news today❤️👫celebration time 🥂 @samgowland'. sic

Despite many thinking she might be pregnant others were quick to point out the champagne emoji on Chloe's caption, adding she would most likely not be drinking if she was expecting her first child. A fan wrote, 'Lol she’s hardly gonna be “celebrating 🥂” if she’s pregnant, you’re all idiots'. sic

Yesterday (10th April) it was also reported that Sam was seen rubbing Chloe's belly while on a day out looking at houses in Newcastle, however the couple still have yet to comment on the rumours.

Chloe and Sam are set to appear in the brand new series of Geordie Shore which airs later in the year.

Despite Holly Hagan returning to the cast, former Celebrity Big Brother star Marnie Simpson announced she'd left the show for good earlier this year.

After weeks of speculation of her whereabouts as the cast filmed the new series, Marnie took to her Twitter to clear up the rumours. She wrote, 'For everyone keep asking I have in fact permanently left Geordie shore, it was just time to move on, it just wasn’t the same without everyone who left and I made the decision to leave, it was a wild 5 years and I’m really thankful I got to do it!' sic

Although no official date for the 16th series of Geordie Shore has been announced, filming is now complete.
