He's not happy with the abuse she's been receiving

With the new series of Dancing On Ice fast approaching, bosses are announcing this year's pairings thick and fast, and yesterday it was revealed that TOWIE legend Gemma Collins has been paired up with DOI veteran Matt Evers.

After the news was announced, a number of online trolls were quick to write some very harsh messages about Gemma online, many of which were aimed at her body image.

When one Twitter user called Paul wrote, 'Better reinforce the ice', Matt took to Twitter to condemn the harsh messages, writing, 'Who are you to judge and say something like that? Any decent “MAN” wouldn’t body shame a woman. Unless your manhood is that small you’re threatened that their balls are bigger than yours. I’m sure your mothers well proud. Show your face “Paul”.' sic

Gemma took to Twitter yesterday to confirm the exciting news in a video, joking, "I'm about to reveal to you my Dancing On Ice partner, poor bloke..." The camera then moves to Matt, who says, "Hello, hello, oh my god, we had so much fun today!"

Although reports earlier this year suggested that Gemma was about to QUIT the show, the reality star quickly denied them, with her boyfriend Arg showing his support for his girl.

Sharing a cute photo of the pair to his social media accounts, Arg wrote, 'I can’t wait to watch my @gemmacollins1 on this years @dancingonice ⛸ @itv She is working so bloody hard & giving it her everything in training! She’s not a quitter, She’s gonna prove certain doubters wrong & I can’t wait.' sic
