Young fan left starry eyed as Ellie Goulding stops to watch her sing
The star called the girl a 'little delight'.
A little girl was left starstruck as Ellie Goulding stopped to listen her sing.
The 'Love Me Like You Do' singer was seen getting out of a car and listening to young busker perform her track 'On My Mind' in a video which has since gone viral.
Ellie had been on the way to perform at Sheffield Arena as part of her tour and shared a video of the moment she met the girl.
Dad James Sockett, who was in town with his daughter at the time, posted the girl's performance on Facebook and said it was nice to see Ellie going out of her way to spend time with her fans.
"It caught my daughter's eye first because she saw a little girl singing," he said.
"So we headed over and we just watched it for a bit. And then all of a sudden this woman got out of a van and walked up to the girl and said 'Do you know who I am?'
"The little girl just looked starstruck and that's when I realised it was Ellie Goulding."
"So I just grabbed my phone out like you would and started filming! She gave her a hug after. She said 'that's really good'."
