Apple Music Festival is coming to London

Previously known as iTunes Festival, Apple Music Festival has announced the first acts who will be performing at London's Roundhouse this September.

Acts announced today include 'Happy' singer Pharrell, One Direction, Florence + The Machine and for the first time Disclosure.

When asked about the festival Pharrell said, "the Roundhouse is such a historic venue, there’s always a special energy in the crowd. Thank you for having me!” a sentiment echoed by Disclosure who said, "We’re super excited to play our first ever show for Apple Music Festival at the Roundhouse, one of our favourite venues in London."

Taking place between the 19th and 28th September, UK residents can apply to win tickets to the event while those who aren't lucky enough to win tickets can watch it live through Apple Music and iTunes.

In the past the festival has seen over 550 artists performing including Adele, Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry amongst others.
