It has been a crazy few weeks for former Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett, not only did she accuse Ryan Thomas of 'punching' her, she later QUIT the Celebrity Big Brother house and dubbed herself the 'most hated girl in Britain'.

After breaking her silence on Jeremy Vine's new show by apologising to Ryan, his mum, his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh and his brothers Scott and Adam, the actress was later interviewed by Emma Willis, where most viewers called her apology 'fake'.

HOWEVER, despite shutting down rumours that she's about to appear on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Roxanne is about to make a return to TV screens VERY shortly.

The 35-year-old signed up and filmed scenes for Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, but as viewers will discover she quit the show after just five DAYS! Anyways, despite the fact we won't get to see much of Roxanne on the island, the show is set to air on Channel 4 this Sunday (9th September).

According to reports, Roxanne quit the show due to the bonfires on the island reminding her of a tragic house fire when she was just 16-yearw-old.

A spokesperson said, "Roxanne, her grandmother and mum were involved in a house fire in the middle of the night when she was 16. Roxanne suffered smoke inhalation and her mum was hospitalised for months as she lost her sight, this later returned after lengthy medical care. Her house was completely burnt out and Roxanne and her family lost all of their belongings."

Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls kicks off on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday 9th September.

Meanwhile, since she left the CBB house, Roxanne has been slammed by over 20 of her former Emmerdale co-stars, Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner, and actress Lucy Pargeter.
