We’ve missed being able to celebrate and party at Pride venues and events across North East Scotland over the last 15 months.
As Pride Month gets underway, we wanted to celebrate everything that makes us PROUD to love the North East.
With so many events, venues and ambassadors that make us immensely proud, it was difficult to pick just five! Check them out below...
Grampian Pride
Grampian Pride provides a safe space for all LGBT+ people and their straight allies. Bringing together a march for equality, entertainment, key speakers, safe spaces, and a family area; the Pride event brings North East Scotland to life.
We cannot wait for the return of Grampian Pride! It's well worth re-living last month's Virtual Grampian Pride on socials.
RGU Rainbow Network
The RGU Rainbow Network promote a positive attitude towards LGBTQ+ people and raise the profile of LGBTQ+ equality throughout the university.
Cheerz Bar & Nightclub
A safe space in the heart of Aberdeen that provides an epic night out. It's so exciting to see the doors open again!
four Pillars
four Pillars are outstanding supporters of the LGBT+ community, offering support in so many different ways. They also help to celebrate Pride, raising money only a few week ago with the Grampian Virtual Run - what an effort!
Siberia
This year, Siberia were massive supporters of the Virtual Grampian Pride and really helped to pull it off. It's a real safe space to enjoy a great night.
