12 Arrested In Aberdeen and Dundee For Football-Related Violence

Twelve people have been arrested in Aberdeen and Dundee today for football-related violence.

8 people were taken into custody in Aberdeen, from areas such as Cove, Mastrick and Torry.

4 people were alos arrested in Dundee.

In Aberdeen, those arrested were between the ages of 17-48, and in Dundee, between the ages of 17-41.

Over 50 officers from Aberdeen City Division and Tayside Division are working together to carry out today's enforcement activity as well as both football clubs.

It's thought to be related to Aberdeen's 2-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice on December 13th.
