Aberdeen pub robbed in broad daylight

Thousands of pounds was stolen from the Bieldside Inn earlier this month.

Thousands of pounds has been stolen from an Aberdeen pub.

The money was taken from The Bieldside Inn on North Deeside Road on the afternoon of Sunday 7th May 2017.

Investigating officer PC Eamonn Ryan said: "A mid four figure sum of money was stolen from an office within the premises and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area, and who saw anything unusual or suspicious, to contact us.

"In particular we would ask anyone who was within the restaurant between 12.00pm and 5.00pm on Sunday 7 May 2017 to get in touch if they may have seen something which could assist with our enquiries."
