Aberdeenshire two-car crash leaves man in hospital

A man is receiving hospital care following a two-car crash on an Aberdeenshire road.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on the A96 north of Inverurie on Friday 24 around 2.40pm.

The road at Milton of Inveramsay was closed for several hours and traffic was seen queuing in both directions.

The road reopened just after 5.30pm after the vehicles were cleared from the road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 2.40pm on Friday, 24 February, to a report of a two car crash on the A96 north of Inverurie.

“Emergency services attended and one person was taken to hospital.”
