Driver Dies After Van Leaves Road

A van driver was killed when his vehicle came off the road in Aberdeenshire.

The collision happened yesterday on an unclassified road between Keig and

Montgarrie near Alford.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash at about 2.30pm.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the silver

Citroen Berlingo van prior to the collision to contact them.

Officers are keen to speak to a delivery driver who alerted nearby residents.
