The Director of Education at Aberdeenshire Council has admitted that children in Aberdeenshire schools "sometimes feel unsafe" - following a string of incidents involving knifes.

In the past month, police have been called out to schools in Aberdeenshire and Moray six times after kids have brought a weapon into school.

It follows death of 16-year-old Bailey Gwynne - who was fatally attacked at an Aberdeen school in October.

We sat down with Maria Walker, the Director of Education at Aberdeenshire Council, about her concerns on the issue.
