LISTEN: Jo Cox widower in Edinburgh to meet with Scottish politicians

Almost a year on from the death of Jo Cox - the husband of the late Labour MP’s in Eedinburgh in an effort to bring parties together.

Brendan Cox is meeting with political leaders at Holyrood ahead of next month’s Great Get Together - which aims to build closer community ties on the first anniversary of his wife’s killing.

It'll take place around the country on June 16-18 with events including street parties, BBQs, picnics, coffee mornings and tea parties.

He was later handed a whole-life prison sentence for her murder.
