A man has been charged after more than £100,000 of drugs were seized by police in a raid.

Officers recovered crack cocaine and heroin during an intelligence-led search at a property in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old man, from the city, was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

Police said targeting serious organised crime involving drugs is a priority for the division under Operation Aspen to ensure that the north-east remains one of the safest places to live and work.
