Man charged following dog attack in Aberdeen

The incident happened last month and two people were taken to hospital for treatment.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged following reports of a dog attack in Aberdeen last month.

Officers were called to an address on Corrennie Circle at around 3pm on 17 January.

Two people, a 73-year-old man and 70-year-old woman, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Wednesday, 17 January, 2024 we received a report of a man being attacked by a dog in the Corrennia Circle area of Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and a 73-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

“A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
