Man and woman due in court in connection with £18K drugs recovery in Aberdeen

The pair were charged after heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis were discovered in a property

Two people are due in court today after a five-figure sum of drugs were recovered in Aberdeen.

Officers discovered around £18,000 worth of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis on Elphinstone Court and Grandholm Court yesterday.

A 37-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.

Detective Constable Dan Connelly, from North East Division CID Proactive, said:

“We remain committed to taking appropriate action against people profiting from the sale of illegal and harmful substances.

“Our work relies on information provided by members of the community, so we encourage anyone with concerns about drugs in their area to contact us on 101, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
