Police appeal for help to trace missing Aberdeenshire woman

51-year-old Ruth Watt has been missing from the Tarves area since 4pm yesterday

Police are appealing to the public to help trace a 51-year-old woman from Aberdeenshire.

Ruth Watt has been reported missing from the Tarves area and was last seen in Mackie Avenue, around 4pm on Tuesday Just 21st.

She is described as being around 5ft 8in in height, with long red/auburn hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper and blue jeans.

Police say she may be driving a blue Suzuki Ignis, registration SV22 WSL.

Ruth has links to the Tarves, Ellon and Huntly areas of Aberdeenshire.

Sergeant Stuart Gordon said:

“I am appealing for the public’s assistance to help trace Ruth.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Ruth, her car, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2838 of 22 June, 2022.
