Party on the AWPR - but no date set for Grand Opening
A 4 mile stretch near Dyce will open to traffic in July

A four mile stretch of the AWPR around is going to be ready for traffic next month, but we don't yet have a firm date for the grand opening of the whole project.
But we do have a date for a party on the bypass - there's going to be a Community Weekend in the Deeside area on the 8th and 9th of September.
Ryan Borthwick from the local Chamber of Commerce said he had been hoping for clarity on the opening date, but he's welcoming the new campaign to get people "AWPR ready."

The site also has testimonials from a range of business groups and other organisations, talking about the benefits of the new road.
