Schoolgirl indecently assaulted in Aberdeen

A 12 year old girl has been attacked by man in broad daylight near King Street.

There's been an indecent assault on a 12 year old girl in Aberdeen city centre.

It that happened in the Park Place or Princes Street area, just off King Street at around 8.45am on Tuesday 25 November 2014.

The suspect is described as man with short black hair and has brown eyes, of Indian appearance and aged between 30 to 40 years old. He was wearing navy blue jeans, a red hooded top and a black rain jacket.

The young girl, although uninjured, was left extremely distressed by the incident and Police ask that anyone with information come forward.

Police are liaising with nearby schools to ensure parents are aware and have extra patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the community.
