A Yellow severe weather warning has been put in place for much of Scotland, includng the North-east.

Tuesday started dry, bright and sunny across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Hours later... Storm Jake has brought snow to the North-east!

The Met Office have said;

"Wintry showers will continue through Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with some snow expected on higher ground. Clear spells between showers will allow ice to form on untreated surfaces."

"Please be aware of some difficult driving conditions and the possibility of some low-level disruption."
