Two cars stolen in Aberdeenshire overnight

They were taken from Cults and Banchory

Police are investigating the theft of two cars stolen overnight in the Cults and Banchory areas.

A black Infiniti FX30 with the registration T44 TKA was stolen from a property in the area of Park Road in Cults between 1:00am and 5:00am on Wednesday morning.

A white Honda Civic with the registration DY62 BXS was also stolen from Hollybank Crescent in Banchory at around 3.30am this morning.

A garden shed in Highfield Avenue was also targeted.

Detective Sergeant Craig Murray said: "We are appealing for members of the public to be on the lookout for these two stolen vehicles.

"If anyone has seen or sees either vehicle, please contact Police immediately.

"We are also appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in or around Hollybank Crescent, Highfield Avenue or elsewhere in the general Banchory area last night as well as the Park Road area of Cults to get in touch with us and help us.

"Again, it is urged that the public ensure their properties are secure by locking doors and windows to prevent items being stolen.

This type of crime can be extremely distressing for victims and we urge anyone with information about these crimes or any other information that will assist our enquiries to contact Police Scotland on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
