A woman who died after being found seriously injured in Tillydrone has been named locally as Sara Irvine.

The 34 year-old mum passed in hospital after she was discovered in a property yesterday morning.

On social media, Sara's sister, Sophie, says she's "broken" and has no words to describe what has happened.

She said: “You updated your profile a day ago.

“I’m so shocked, I’ve no idea what I’m thinking or what to do, I’m so broken and lost.”

Sara had been found in a building on Auchinleck Road around 02.30am on Wednesday.

She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment but later died.

A 30 year-old woman charged in connection with the incident made no plea at Aberdeen Sheriff Court earlier today.
