The BEAST from the East has ripped open the roads across the City and 'shire.

More than twenty cars were believed to have been damaged by a beastly pothole on the A90.

Within hours of hearing about the pothole, BEAR Scotland were quick to fix it.

Emergency repairs were carried out on the A90 Southbound at Laurencekirk, after it led to burst tyres and damaged axles.

Aberdeen City Council warned road users that they can't repair the potholes until the frost had gone.

Aberdeenshire Council also warned road users to stay safe in the bad weather.

Cedrick warned the council of a pothole in Kintore.

There is one HUGE one on Old Lang Stracht near the entrance to the Stewart Milne site. - Tim

Team North-east have been in touch and have #spothole'd many more potholes.

"I've seen a few potholes on Netherley Road and they are BIG. A couple of cars were with flat tyres and had to change a tyre at the side of the road. The rain is causing flooding and the potholes are really hard to see." - Dave, Portlethen

Gary took to Twitter to tell Jeff and Lauren about the state of Fernieflat Farm.

Granitehill Road has also been reported to have been plagued with potholes.

Morag said "When I was driving up the Spital this morning about the only road without a pothole was the old cobbles."
